Hello Quilters & Crafters,

Spring is on the way! After the snowy February we had, I think we’ll all appreciate it a little more this year. We were closed several days because of all the snow and I know a lot of you have been busy sewing and using up that stash! I made one of Lori’s dresses and have decided that zippers and I do not get along very well. The next dress might have elastic in the waist! Next on the list is making a curtain for my craft room. I want to put grommets at the top for the rod. That’s got to be easier than zippers! We’ve enjoyed the slower pace of winter this past month. The kids were off of school for a week and a half due to snow and conferences. Paul is taking EMT classes right now and Ryan‘s baseball practices will start in a few weeks. Lori is memorizing her lines for the part of Mother Bunny in the Spring Program at school and Amanda is practicing for two musical performances that are coming up this month as well. I must say, I am loving the stage of life that we’re in right now. Sometimes I wish I could slow it down a little bit, time goes by so fast! We have quite a few special events coming up, so make sure you mark your calendars! Happy Sewing! Mary
